I want to take a moment to honour and celebrate the incredible life of Benjamin. Solidarity's finest employee of the year. His warm, silly, and gentle presence brought boundless joy, comfort, laughs, and unconditional love to everyone who crossed our clinic's doors. Benny had a special way of reminding us all of the profound power of connection – how simply being present for someone can make all the difference.
Therapeutic animals like Benny are nothing short of extraordinary. They don't just touch hearts; they help heal them. Benny's wagging tail greeted clients on their toughest days, his soft fur offered solace during life's hardest moments, and his playful spirit brought lightness to heavy hearts. He showed us that healing can take many forms – sometimes, it comes with four legs, a wagging tail, and an endless capacity for love.
Although Benny's time with me was brief, his impact was profound. He taught me to embrace the present, find joy in life's simplest moments, and give love without limits.
