As you may be aware, we dropped the GST charge for eligible clients AND throwing it back with a refund for sessions paid after June 20, 2024 - end of 2024👏with a GST Rebate!

So if you’ve been vibing with us in therapy, you might have some surprise dollars coming your way. Just sit back and enjoy that tax-free glow just in time for summer! 

How to Apply for a GST Refund; you can request a refund by submitting Form GST189 (General Application for Rebate of GST/HST) to the CRA.

Option 1: Submit Online (Suggested + Best Option)

1. Log in to CRA My Account:

2. Visit CRA My Account

3. Click "File a GST/HST rebate"

4. Complete the Form GST189

   1. Select "Amount Paid in Error" as the reason

   2. Enter the refund period (June 20 – end of 2024) and the amount paid

   3. Attach Supporting Documents

   4. Upload receipts or invoices showing GST paid

(This can be found on your online JaneApp portal. You can also email us clientcare@solidaritytherapy.ca to send you the receipts as well)

5. Submit the Form Electronically

Option 2: Submit via Paper Mail (womp womp)

1. Submit by Mail

2. Download Form GST189

3. Complete the Form

4. Attach Supporting Documents (Receipts/Invoices)

5. Mail the Completed Form 

   1. Refer to the last page of the GST189 Form
